Independence Day History - by Anna

     Hello everyone! Welcome to our blog on this wonderful third of July... Yup, the Fourth of July is tomorrow!! I'm sure everyone is very excited, though this holiday is honestly not very exciting for me... I mean I'm glad the U.S. isn't a British colony anymore (take that, Brits!) but my family doesn't really celebrate it.

     Of course, that might be a little different this year, because not only are we out of California (firework displays are so hard to find, and usually very crowded, and the fireworks themselves are kinda lame), we are with a whole bunch of family (Family Vacation! Love it!) and so we will probably do something special to celebrate. What that is, I'm not exactly sure. I honestly haven't been paying much attention to plans... I'm busy having fun. ;)

     And since I'm the resident: here's a bunch of history - but in video format, so hopefully it will be interesting person... (See here, here, here, here... I rest my case.) Here's a video on the history of Independence Day!

     Can I just say - that was very entertaining! And I learned some new things as well... (Shock of all shocks, since I know everything. *rolls eyes at self*)
