About Me - Jessica Edition

          Hi everyone! I'm Jessica. I'm so excited to start regularly posting on our blog! I love writing so this is right up my alley. I just turned 15! I can't wait to start driving in a few months. I was born in Houston, Texas and have two younger sisters, whom I love a lot. I have the cutest golden retriever named Duke. He is three but still acts like a puppy. I don't feel much different from being 14 and I still have the same interests. 

          I love photography (I'll be posting some of my photos in later entries), riding horses, and more. I've pretty much tried every sport there is. I've done ballet, tap, gymnastics, waterskiing, riding, volleyball, basketball, and swimming. I love cooking and baking and make yummy creations in my spare time. I also like to read in my spare time. Book I enjoy include: Hunger Games, Divergent, Passion & Purity (by Elisabeth Elliot) and Little House on the Prairie (yes, even at 15 I enjoy reading the series). 

          I continually listen to music that I would die without. I listen to it while cleaning my room, doing homework, in the car, and just for fun. I enjoy listening to mostly Christian and Pop music (I especially like the songs with a good beat. I have a confession to make... I am addicted to Pinterest! I spend so much time on there... There is so much to explore! (I especially like the humor boards.) 

          In addition to these things I most of all enjoy traveling. My dream job would be a traveling food blogger and writer. I have been all over the East Coast, Hawaii (the Big Island and Maui), Idaho, and Kentucky. 

          This year I got to go on a political campaign where my friends and I were sent to Kentucky for a week to help an election that was going on. Every day we would walk from house to house in all different neighborhoods all day and then at the end of the day we would make calls and take surveys. Our campaign was a great success and I hope I get the chance to do it again next year. Although it was a ton of work I really enjoyed it. 

          I can't wait to post again and I'm looking forward to writing to you all again in a few weeks. Bye for now!!
